Thomas is an accomplished, concept-to-execution leader with expertise in new product innovation and development. His proven ability to drive game-changing results in start-up, growth, enterprise, and global organizations has led to success at all levels. He has solid experience developing systems and approaches that contribute to the success of P&L through category expansion and product/service/business roadmaps, while always with an eye to enhancing customer experiences and improvement on delivery. He has also built multiple peak performance business teams for his other endeavors and for others, including this remarkable executive team of 3Oe Scientific. He is also co-founder of Centric (Indiana Innovation Network), Day of Innovation (in Indiana), and the Indiana Innovation Awards.

Dr. Thomas F. Foust

President and CEO

Dr. Lubitz brings 30 years experience as a physician-executive and consultant in academic and community health, public health and ambulatory care. He has an extensive background in strategic planning, operations, healthcare quality, clinical research and research regulatory affairs. In addition to his own research portfolio, Dr. Lubitz led the research division at a large health system for 14 years, supervising over 600 drug and device studies per year and supporting two Institutional Review Boards. He advises health systems and companies on pandemic planning and response, and recently served as a senior medical advisor to the Global Health Crisis Coordination Center the COVID-19 response. Dr. Lubitz received his MD from the University of Cincinnati, completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, and a Master’s in Public Health from Indiana University. He is an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine, Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Master of the American College of Physicians.

Mark Schwartz is a strategic consultant for product startups and emerging technology companies. He has a passion for bringing new product solutions to life and putting his experience to work in guiding and empowering the next generation of innovation makers. His fundraising experience includes crowdfunding as well as angel and institutional investing, which has fueled growth for many solutions that are on the market today. He currently serves as an advisor and board member for nearly a dozen ventures across several industries including medical, fitness, consumer, and technology.

Mark has been in the product development game for more than 35 years. He began his contribution to technology development at Motorola where he worked on bringing the first-ever flip phone, the StarTAC, to fruition. The vast majority of his career was spent growing and running his startup, Product Development Technologies (PDT). PDT grew into a full-service product development firm with over 120 employees and more than 100 awards including the Consumer Electronics Association, Fast Company, BusinessWeek, and the Industrial Designers Society of America, to name a few. PDT was twice named to INC 500’s Fastest Growing Companies List and became one of the premier product development firms serving the world’s largest and most innovative companies.

In his spare time, Mark enjoys snowboarding and boating with his family. He also loves hockey, which he plays with a local men’s league. He also enjoys playing on the lake behind his house during winter months that he preps with his homemade Zamboni.

Carrie has over 20 years of experience in the fields of accounting, audit and finance. After getting her CPA license, Carrie worked in manufacturing, service and not-for-profit industries before starting her own consulting business. Recently, Carrie and her family relocated back to Indiana after living and working overseas for many years.

Lance Wonderlin joined 3Oe Scientific in 2021 as the Chief Legal Officer, after running his own law firm since 1997. While Lance is well-versed in many areas of the law, currently his practice primarily focuses on general corporate law and consulting. Lance supervises 3Oe’s pursuit of patent and trademark protection, performs risk assessment for the company, drafts and reviews contracts for the company, and provides guidance on corporate, employment, securities, and other legal issues. Lance also serves as “integrator” for the company, under the Entrepreneurial Operation System utilized by 3Oe.

Lance is a graduate of Indiana University, Maurer School of Law, and Wabash College. Additionally, he was admitted to practice law before the U.S. District Courts of the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, and before the U.S. Tax Court.

Lance is also an Adjunct Professor at Indiana Wesleyan University, teaching Business Law and Ethics. He currently serves as President of the Westfield Rotary Club and has served on the Board of Monroe County School Corporation Foundation. Lance received the Pro Bono Publico Award from the Indiana Supreme Court in 2006, “Doing the Most Good” award from the Salvation Army, and Rotarian of the year for 2021-2022. He has coached youth sports for sixteen years. He and his wife, Michelle, presently reside in the Westfield area.

Joe Dillon has been with 3Oe Scientific since August of 2019. He is passionate about the opportunity that 3Oe Scientific’s technology represents for making the world a healthier place. Joe has spent over 15 years as an entrepreneur investing in multiple startups and spearheading operations in both franchised and organic businesses. Prior to focusing full time as an entrepreneur, he spent his time in various sales and leadership roles with Fortune 500 companies including GlaxoSmithKline and Cintas. Joe has an MBA in Finance from Ball State and played Division 1 soccer at the University of Cincinnati. He is a very active volunteer in youth sports. He is married to his high school sweetheart Jenni and has two boys, Blake and Brooks.

Dr. Leon is a Board-certified Internal Medicine physician, Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine and trained as a Clinical Pharmacist. He has served as the Medical Director of the Ambulatory Care Center at the Indiana University Academic Health Center and as a Regional Medical Director in the IU system. His clinic was known as the “Center of Innovation” and was involved in piloting various new and innovative outpatient clinical and administrative activities for the state-wide medical group. He has served as an advisor for companies, schools, churches, and health care institutions on pandemic planning and response. He is also involved extensively in medical education, pharmacy and therapeutic committees, quality improvement committees, and clinical research activities, including leading an Ozone research group. Dr. Leon received his Pharmacy and MD degrees from The Ohio State University, completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Indiana University, and has served on the Indiana University School of Medicine faculty for over 25 years. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.

Kelley serves as the marketing manager for 3Oe Scientific, where she helps with the creative, digital, and social side of the company. She holds an undergraduate degree in management and a master’s in business. She enjoys traveling and music.

Natalie grew up in Peru, Indiana but moved to the Indianapolis area in 2007. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems in 2015. She enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband, Jared and daughters, Claire and Carly.

Catherine currently serves as the marketing advisor at 3Oe Scientific, bringing her passion for innovation and more than 20 years of experience in product and brand marketing to her role. As a classically trained consumer packaged goods marketer, she has launched and managed major brands across Healthcare, Homegoods, Functional Foods and Health & Beauty industries. Catherine holds both an undergraduate degree and MBA in marketing and is responsible for establishing foundational strategies in the areas of marketing, public relations and social/digital media for 3Oe Scientific.
